From the north, take Dynamite/Rio Verde Drive to its end at Forest Road. Turn right and drive on Forest Road to its end. Stay on the pavement making a right turn onto McDowell Mountain Road. Drive a few miles until you see the McDowell Mountain Park entrance. From the south, take Fountain Hills Boulevard north until it turns into McDowell Mountain Road.
Park entrance fee: $7.00.
