|December 17, ||Christmas Ride - Table Mesa Recreational Area|| 10:00 AM||Saturday|
Take I-17 North to Exit #236 (Table Mesa Road). Take a left over I-17 and then take an immediate right onto the Frontage Road. Asphalt will turn to dirt. Stay on this route past the Power Plant and take a LEFT at the ?Y? towards the Stodgehill mine. There is a white board sign at the ?Y? as well. Follow this road past the Stodgehill mine (which will be on the right) and take a RIGHT at the next ?Y? which leads you to the LGC (Little Grand Canyon) Ranch.
The private entry gate will be in the upright position. Stay to the right on the long driveway and follow it down to the large pastures. Parking will be inside the left pasture fencing. The ride should take about 2 hours and is a Level 2-3. There are a couple of step-overs, and a couple of small water crossings along the way. Shoes or boots are always recommended. Water is available at the Ranch for the horses return. And a snack at the end of the ride is planned for a final meet and greet.

Club Members are asked to bring a choice of Appetizers, Salads, Desserts. Please sign up on the club's web site EVENTS page (cavecreeksaddleclub.org) no later than Sunday Dec 10, so we have a head count for the amount of food we'll need.
Also, after your last name on the sign up page, please put down what appetizer, salad or dessert you plan to bring. This will help to prevent duplications. Probablywill need some to bring Rolls/Bread along with some dishes too.
Our gift exchange will be a little different this year. Instead of a gift we thought it would be more fun to exchange Christmas / Holiday desserts (pies, chocolates, breads, special coffees, etc. Desserts should be wrapped and be no more than $10. Each member is also asked to bring one unwrapped gift for a child to be donated to Toys for Tots.
